The meaning behind the mission statement?

Bethel Homeless Ministry is on a mission to eradicate homelessness in the 

City of Birmingham because Homeless Lives Matter! 

Our charity represents 'LOVE IN ACTION'

The bible states:

‘Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin'

James 4:17 (KJV)

People should know better and people should do better. We see these individuals around on the streets in the City of Birmingham. Even though the thought of a contribution is believed to be enough, there is no urgency or compassion to resolve the matter. Offering money or nourishments helps the issue at face value, but investing in the long-term cause of homelessness makes the biggest impact.

How many people have extended their generosity when finding out why these individuals are homeless, or how they got there and why has society turned its back on them.

Someone has to stand up for them. 

Someone has to act on their behalf.

Everyone has a responsibility and it is our shame for not doing so.
