A homeless person is defined as:
'not having a place they can call home'
Some individuals may have temporary housing accommodation whereby they raise a set amount of money to sleep in hostels. Not all individuals are able to raise the funds for a hostel.
Day Ministry Shift: 12noon - 3-4pm
We Provide: Hot or cold meals, hot and cold drinks, snacks, sleeping bags, clothing, footwear, toiletries, First Aid, advise on entitlements, prayer and guidance.
In Addition We: Reconnect them with their family, refer them to specialist services for support, refer them to independent supportive living services and pay for their buses or train fare (some individual are stranded and cannot get home back to families).
