In 2013 Bethel Homeless Ministry began as a concept looking at impoverished people within the City of Birmingham. God had placed it in her heart that someone needs to help these homeless individuals regardless of their age, gender, race, culture, sexuality, nationality and/or reasoning why they are living on the streets in the City of Birmingham, were given the opportunity at a chance of LIFE not DEATH.
'...I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly'
St John 10:10 (KJV)
Due to the public’s rejection of these individuals and daily challenges they face;
Wendi alongside her family and faith volunteers decided to demonstrate charity, love and compassion just like Jesus Christ did.
