Bethel Homeless Ministry understands that identity is is important and recognises that all our potential tenants who choose to register with us need particular documentation in order to access our homes, services, provisions, benefits and support. As a result, we have provided a full detailed list of how and where they can obtain the essential documentation required and needed.

The Process:
o Go into the Metro Bank, 88 High Street, Birmingham, B4 7TE
o Speak to an advisor regarding the individual needing a bank account but due to them having special circumstances of supportive living arrangements

No Fixed Address Service - Bank Account Cost: Free
The Process:
o Complete an online referral application form
o The support worker will arrange a time for an interview
o Go into the HSBC Bank, 130 New Street, Birmingham, B2 4JU
o Once the interview is completed, the application is approved
o All correspondents will be addressed to the BHM address
NHS NUmber
NHS Number Cost: Free

o Register with a GP surgery and they will be allocated one automatically
Universal Credit
Universal Credit Application Cost: Free
Payment Process: If successful it takes 5 weeks for 1st payment
